Hold What Matters


For purposes of this post, I am supposed to tell how I would re-brand the Chatbooks brand.  However, I believe they have been quite successful at establishing their brand.  Therefore, I will focus on why I do not think they need re-branded.  In other words, I'll tell you what I think they've done right!

Logo Creation - Their logo is clean and simple.  Therefore, it is easily added to their products (back cover and spines of the Chatbooks) without taking away from, or interfering with, the the customer's design and finished product.  The logo features two simple 'chat bubbles', which goes along with their Chatbooks brand name.  Finishing out the Chatbooks brand name, the two chat bubbles are easily interpreted as representing the pages of an open book.



Effective Tagline - Their tagline "Hold What Matters" represents the ability to hold onto the moments and memories, even after the time has passed.  Also, in a time of technology and all things digital and in the cloud, this tagline also signifies the ability to hold the finished photo product in your hands.  Further, this tagline pulls at the heartstrings of the target market of busy moms.  'Hey Moms, you may not be able to physically hold your babies forever, but you can hold onto the memories!'

Exceptional Customer Service and Interaction - This company does it right when it comes to customer service and interaction.  They reply to not only messages and posts to their social media pages, they also respond to comments.  Their goal is to continue being viewed as a small and caring company.  Their customer interaction accomplishes that, as you feel you are chatting with a friend... a friend who goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and treated right!

Outstanding Product - They aim to provide easy and convenient photo keepsakes at an affordable price.  Not only do their products reach these goals, their brand enjoys a loyal and admiring following of those who have enjoyed the Chatbooks experience.

Hilarious and Relatable Video Ads -  The comical "Real Mom" ads are superior in reaching the 'busy mom' target market and establishing a connection.  The ads are hilarious and entertaining, and this is because all busy moms are able to relate to the "Real Mom" in this video, and the antics portrayed.
